How can I acknowledge and thnak mom publicly?

MY dad is walking me down the aisle and of course there is the father/daughter dance, BUT my mom is my rock and I NEEEEEEEDDDDDDD to thank her publicly! What can I do????

What kind of ceremony are you having? You can do a parents ceremony where the minister acknowledges both sets of parents and you present both moms with roses.

I feel the same way, so I'm dedicated a song to my Mom and dancing w/just her....it's a surprise.

I'm doing the same thing... plus I'm having both my parents walk me down the aisle. It's only right.

I'm also surprising them by having their wedding song play, honoring their 40th Wedding Anniversary (in Sept.),and I'm having a mini version of my bo-k made for my mom as a surprise, and I'm presenting it to her and my dad after the dance.

I am not doing a bouquet toss ( i only have 3 single friends left), so i am giving my bouquet to my mom and will TRY to get through some kind of speech to honor and thank her

You can have your mom step in for your dad in the middle of the dance or pick a song just for you and your mother.

Well this is something i have been thinking about to... since both parents raised me u dont want to give one more credit then the other...yet i dont want to take away my dads dream of walking me down the aile... i have decided to have my dad walk me down the aile and have my mom waiting for us a few rows before the point where i am given away... that way my mom can hold my other arm and together they can walk the few more rows with me and both give me away... i think this works best that way i wont take away dads dream and i can honor my mom to..
