How can I acknowledge my parents and FIL's at our reception??

My parents and my FH's parents have been so great to us. I wanted to do a little something for them at the reception and or our mass, but I do not want to go over the top. Anyone doing something very simple to acknowledge their parents and FH's parents. Thanks!

I'd do or have the DJ do a toast at the beginning of the reception!

Although it is not 'tradition' for the bride and groom to give a speech at the wedding, it's not unheard of, and it's a nice way to show your guests just how appreciative you are of your parents as well as your FILs.

We are having our parents wedding song played, having each of them dance to it and then present each mother with a boo-k and a each dad with a garter.

Our moms are doing a unity candle lighting at the ceremony and I plan to say a few words at the reception (as will my FH--he's from England, where is it IS tradition for the Bride and Groom to speak )

One officiant suggested something called a rose ceremony where a rose is presented to each of the parents during the ceremony. You to your FH parents and vise-versa. It should be a total suprise. During the presentation the officiant says a few words of thanks to your parents.
