How can I be spotting and ovulating at once? (Updated - AF is here)
Definitely having signs of ovulation this week and the saliva test showed definite ferning.
But I just went to the bathroom and there was spotting.
How can that be?

I read that some women may spot when ovulating.

Okay, thanks.
It's too early to take an HPT, so I can't tell if it's AF early (or very late since I skipped January). I'm not due until next Tuesday.
We've been BDing every other day since Saturday, so I got nervous that something was going wrong.

Maybe its implantation spotting.

And if yours 'signs' of ovulation are CM then it could be your prego! That was the biggest sign for me!! Good luck!!

is it faint and almost translucent or like the trail end of your period? i've had the almost faint spotting during ovulation and that is completely normal. but we're all hoping it is a sign!!!

Like jcndd, I had excessive CM before I found out I was PG too along with the cramping earlier than normal and some excessive bloated feeling...

Well I have no advice Lauren, but I am soooo keeping my fingers crossed that it may have been implantation bleeding!!

Woke up this morning and AF was here in full force.
I'm so confused becuase up until yesterday I was having all the signs of ovulation (CM, BBT, Saliva test, etc.) but then here's AF to spoil the party!!
Oh well. Here's to trying again in March!!
