my little sister, she has no credit, no credit cards, but wants a cell phone in her name , what does she need to bring if i take her to cosign for her?

you can get one that offers the pre-paid minutes. ATT has one, the 'go-phone'

why does she want on in her name?
try having her apply for a store credit card to attain some credit slowly (not that i am an advocate for credit cards)
meanwhile, why not look into the pre-pay-phone-card programs? that's what my mother uses...she loves it...but she's not one to spend hours on the phone...perhaps something like this would not be economical for your younger sister..

Did she already apply and get denied? If not, this is an excellent way to build credit. If they need a credit card, maybe she can offer to leave a deposit.
If she needs you to guarantee the account you will probably just need to have a photo ID & maybe a credit card.
