How can I get the acrylic nails off ??
I still have the nails on from the wedding, but with packing and getting ready to move I want to take them off. I have not had time to get to a nail salon to have it done. Is there anyway I can do it myself?

You can soak your fingers in nail polish remover for a long period of time (like 1 hr?) Any kind of 'rub' them off, they kind of melt away
There's a quicker way - it cost about $8 and is sold in drug stores like Genovese and CVS. I used it to take my nails off. It's in a little jar like container and is kind of funky looking inside because it has a center to put your finger in that is surrounded by plastic like bristles. I would assume it's an acetone based nail remover your soaking your finer in, but I was able to get the nails off all 10 fingers in about 15 minutes. I have no idea what it's called, but it's sold for specifically removing fake/acrylic nails.
Should be acetone nail polish remover. Works better.
If you go to a beauty supply store, you can get pure acetone- this takes it off faster than the acetone nail polish. When I've gotten them taken off in the past I usually soak them for 10 minutes, then they lightly file, then soak, then lightly file, until everything is off.
oh yeah, i forgot about pure acetone. Thats what i used to use. Just soak your fingernails and they should get soft and mushy and you just squish off the mushy nail.
