I am looking for ways and ideas on how to involve my brother in our wedding.
My sister is a BM, but my brother is not GM.
My FI and brother are not close, so it would have been weird if he asked my brother to be a GM and I think my brother would have felt weird too.
But I would like to involve him somehow in the wedding that represents more of our relationship as an older sister and (even though we are grown) her little bother.
Any ideas???

Well, my brother is older but we made him a reader. We only had 2 MOH's and 2 BM - DH has 2 sisters and I have the one brother so we had the three of them each do a reading because we didn't want a big bridal party (if we had asked them then we'd feel we'd want to add more people and it was just gonna get too big) but we really wanted them to be an important part of our day.

some ideas are 1- usher (walk your mom down the aisle if she won't be going down with you) 2- reader 3- special dance at the reception after parent dances

Tara, I am the oldest of 4, my sister is my MOH and I have 2 stepbrothers, the youngest I feel closest to and consider a real brother so we asked him to do a reading (he's 17!!) We really wanted him involved, but we weren't having the siblings in the WP b/c there are so many already!!

I have an older brother. He's not a GM cause he wasn't sure he can make it.
If he shows up, I'm having him walk my FMIL & FGMIL down to their seats.
Knowing my brother he'll probably also walk my stepmother to her seat as well, but I have no intentions of asking him to do that.
I also want a dance just him and I.
