How can we accomplish this w./ being tacky/ chessy?

We're having a wedding weekend. There are going to be a few activities all guest (staying @ the mansion) will be invited too.

exp:

Thursday night Rehersal dinner

Friday Afternoon - Soft ball Game

Friday night welcome bowling party

Sat wedding (obvil)

Sunday Day after brunch

* we're also providing transportation for mansion guest to & from the Met Club for our wedding.

I'm preping our STDs which are cards we already had printed & brochures on the mansions.

I was thinking about including cards w/ the room rate per night, & a line about the transportation, but how can I let them know about the other events w/o being tacky?

We'd like to keep it to the guest who stay @ the mansion. I don't want someone to say o we would have came up eariler if we would '[ve known you were going to do such & such

what about on a wedding website...do you have one? you can put the timeline on there and then just put the website on the STD

hm...is there a deadline you're giving them for booking rooms? perhaps after all the rooms are booked you can send out a little newsletter/note type thing to those that have reservations and list the activities for the weekend? like a 'we're so happy you're spending the weekend with us..here's what we have planned' brochure?

are you having a wedding website? if you are, maybe in the section where people find out more about the mansion you can have a special link for guests staying at the mansion that shows their 'itinerary'?

That is an awesome idea. One way to do it is include an itinerary in the OOT bags (if you're doing them). For those people that are traveling, send them a note after they reply and let them know there will be festivities starting thursday.

it's another place where you can build a wedding website but it's not free...

Honestly i think nothing is wrong with having a little note or insert with things planned. Not everyone can use a computer.

I was going to suggest a insert or even a small card in their OOT bags when they come to the wedding and check in. Or if you have a wedding site that would work as well.

Thanks, BTW, I love wedshare, I ment to sign up last night, but I didn't get home til 8:30, & I passed out

Sure!

I liked wedshare because they allow guests to update their own contact information and profiles within the website. I also liked how you can restrict them to RSVPing for only a certain # of people

i wish i could've when i got home...but i couldn't fall alseep

that's a great feature! Can you restrict the BM's page to only the BMs?

I think the only reason I was able to was that I couldn't for days

Yup! You can create a separate password for your bridesmaids page and even allow them to post entries on that page. You can change the settings so that any entry requires approval or not. There's also a page for groomsmen that you can create a separate password for as well. pretty cool

aww! well I hope you get better sleep in the next few days. maybe tonight will be my night to pass out!!!
