How can you tell

If the veil you pick out matches your dress?
Im afraid that when I get a veil, it wont 'match' my dress. My mom said its impossible not to match it..............what are your thoughts?

When you go to buy your veil bring pictures of your dress, preferrably ones of you in it. Or if you can get a swatch of your dress then that's even better.

Take pics of the veil you tried. Front AND back.

Ask for opinions from family and friends. Or post here.

i bought my veil and honestly....im affraid it wont match too! i bought the ivory veil. we are going for bm dresses next week so i may just take it along with me to compare....i would check it out before the wedding so at least you have time to fix it if it doesnt.

Well, I knew I was going to order my veil from veilshop.com. So first I had them send me veil swatches and I brought that to the bridal salon so I could match them up to my dress.

Then I ordered 2 different veils with different edging (thank goodness for return policies!). I tried both veils on with my sample dress to see which one looked best.

If none of this helps, then do what the above posters have suggested. Bring pictures of you in your dress with you veil shopping.
