I really want my ceremony outside...I know that I am pushing my luck. Obviously if it rains...we are stuck inside....but otherwise what temp would you say is too cold to have it outside?

Below 65? I dunno....I have some finnicky relatives. I think I would be fine in the 60+ degree weather...but some of my older relatives might not.

There's many more factors than just temperature. I'd rather be outside on a 55 degree day that's sunny, with no wind than a cloudy, windy day at 65 degrees.
Personally, I think the end of October is difficult to do outside. JMO

I think it depends if your guests are wearing sweaters/jackets or not... AND if your hall will be supplying the heated lamps.
I would say if tha'ts the case, mid 50's and up should be fine.
Anything colder than that and it would be too cold!

I think anything below 65 would be uncomfortable for your guests - especially the women who would be wearing strapless/sleevless dresses.

I went to a wedding once where it was about low 60's and windy. It was in a tent (all covered with see-through 'plastic' covers on the sides). I was wearing a tailored jacket over a spaguetti strap camisole and was fine. The women wearing just a dress (sleeveless or staguetti strap) with nothing else...were freazing.

I am getting married at FF the week after you!! I really want the ceremony outside too at the same time @ 12:00pm. I am thinking if it is sunny and @ 60 degrees, definetly outside. The ceremony is all of 1/2 hour - unless it is raining and really cold (I am always cold so if I am uncomfortable than no way) You and your FH need to decide that morning, unfortunately, the weather is the one and only thing we have no control of. Just be thankful that if the cermeony needs to be inside - FF is the BEST place to do it!

If it's sunny out-I would say 55 degrees, not sunny-60-65 degrees.

Well, if you ask me anything colder than 65 degrees is cold! But i'm cold all summer long. I would say as long as the sun is out and it's not windy, it could be high60's. You don't want your guests to be sitting outside shivering.

you don't want the one thing for your guests to talk about is how freezing your ceremony was and how uncomfortable they were. they'll be more likely to talk about that than other details of the wedding.
i would say anything under 65, or a windy or cool day would be out of the question.
you've planned your wedding with you, your FH and your guests in mind. think how you'd feel sitting for an hour (30 min ceremony, before and after time) when you make up your mind.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for a warm evening myself. My banquet manager said anything over 50 degrees would be fine - but I think that's with heat lamps. I know personally my ceremony is only going to be 20 minutes - so I am hoping to eek this out.
Maybe have hot drinks waiting for your guests when they come back inside?

I agree; if it's in the 50's, that's okay because guests can sit and watch the ceremony wearing sweaters/jackets. Then they can take that outer layer off when they party at your reception. As for you and your bridal party... you'll be cold, but it's only 20 minutes and you'll have gorgeous pictures to show for it.
