How cool is this!!!

My father passed away when I was six, I am an only child and I have drifted apart from my dad's side of the family (both granparents have passed too). Well when we first got engaged, I reached out to them and we got together!!!

I have invited them all and about half of them are coming to the wedding!!!! We got invited to a communion on that side and went yesterday and it was like a reunion!! I was holding back tears the whole day!! It was so fabulous!! I haven't seen these people in 20 years!! But it felt like yesterday!! That is truly family!!!!

I am so excited that my father will be represented at my wedding!!!!

PLUS< I just found out today that FH's aunt and uncle are coming to our wedding!!! They haven't been to a family function in I dont know how long!! They are in a wedding band (Times Square Orchestra) and they are always booked!!! But they happen to be free!!!

How lucky are we!!
