I wanna say that I really like the fairy dust idea and respect your decision to wear that dress as long as it is appropriate to wear around little children...

I'm going to be honest and say that I do not like the idea of having kids go around offering kisses. I know you won't force them if they didn't want to... but I don't think that is something you should let little kids decide, that's something an adult should decide for them. I think it's inappropriate and if it wear my child, I would not feel comfortable with having them going around doing that.... JMHO

I respect that 100%. What I might do to the three oldest girls is tell them, that at the end when they give other people the candy, they can go up to their mom, dad, grandparent, aunt or uncle and ask them if they want a kiss and give them a real one. That way it would be someone they would want to kiss. and NO I would NEVER expose myself to children! I will be showing cleavage yes, but not to wear its inapporate for kids. Heck I teach two-three yr olds sunday school!

I respect that you understand what everyone is saying. It is great to do your own thing when it comes to a wedding. In my opinion though, I feel like you keep coming back to this giving a kiss to their family or others. I just wonder why that is going to be a part of the day? Blowing kisses, fairy dust, etc. is great, but again it is just inappropriate to ask girls, old or young to offer kisses to people.

I agree - very inappropriate... the only people doing any kissing should be the bride and groom.

I love that you are catering your wedding to fit you...I commend you to rise above some people's comments. I am not crazy on any kissing with the kids. I love the fairy idea with the dust. IMAO

I like the idea, and I think you made it clear in the beginning that the kisses from the children would be either real or HERSHEY'S kisses if the children were uncomfortable. She also expressed clearly that the parents of these children would be asked for their consent to this as well. It is clear, at least to me, that you have thought about the children and their interest, and I am assuming for this that the parents of the children can also assess the situation and make the best decision for their child. I think some people may be a little too touchy on this subject.

I don't think she is promoting inappropriate behavior and I think it's sweet.

Is it a medival theme, or a fairytale these? Cause I would think a fairytale theme, you would wear one of those giant fluffy dresses, like a princess? No?

Very cute... I like the fairy dust idea too! I was at a wedding last wknd and the flower girl who is normally outgoing literally RAN down the aisle. It was really cute though! So, once they get in front of all those people and all eyes are on them, they may not cooperate. Just thought i'd let ya know!

Yes, I have seen confident, not shy at all kids turn 180 degrees at a wedding (like hiding in mom's skirt shy all of a sudden) - so just be aware that they may not cooperate when it comes to the big day. The idea is great, though. Very cute.
