Jeweler's Mutual.... I scanned my GIA card and sent it to them. So easy!

I havent yet but my dad said you could prob go through who you have for your car insurance or if you have life insurance HTH!

i went to my regular insurance co, for my home insurance, but was told that my ring cost too much to go on it![]()
i had to open an account just for my ring and any other jewelery i wanted to insure. I went through Chubbs. Its considered the best insurance company for jewlery for ny city / long island area. let me know if u want their information.

I looked into it and it seemed expensive. Like $30 a month... and I need to save money for the wedding. It ws also very confusing to read so I could be wrong on the price.
Approx what did yours all cost? I need to do this so bad. I'm scared of losing my stone!

DH put it on the homeowners insurance. they needed the GIA certificate and the appraisal.

It depends on how much your ring was appraised for. Then they determine how much it is to insure it for the year

Jewelers Mutual. Had the ring appraised by the Jewelry Judge in Garden City and he made us a packet of info to send to the inusrance company. Insurance kicks in at midnight on the date of the postmark on the envelope. Very simple and very good coverage.

I took it to my jeweler...he appraised it...sent me the write up...I went to State Farm, they took the jewelers write up, took pics of my ring, and I waited until I got the paper work in the mail....really simple
