Did you go over, under, or right around your budget?
DH & I went over budget, but not by much. Just in little things like:
hair - I only thought about hair for day of wedding, not getting highlights before the wedding photography - we got our proofs and loved them so much we added more pictures into our album than what we had in our contract BP gifts - we found something we really loved but it put us over a little bit on our budget for the gifts (but we felt they were all worth it) jewelry - I thought that I was going to wear this necklace my grandmother gave me and save money their, but it did not look right with my dress so I bought something else. It was not expensive at all though and I love the set, so I was very happy!!!
I think that is it. We really did very well with our budget and pretty much stayed right on track. How about everyone else?

We were right around our budget. I saved so much on my gown and accessories, so we spent it elsewhere. I also added a make-up artist last minute. I wouldn't have changed a thing!!!! (Well, except for where I got the BM dresses from, but that has nothing to do with budget!)

hmm, we were just about right on target. we booked a lot of vendors early, like 2 years before the wedding, so we knew how much we had to save for each one.
small things helped us too, ie, my mom paid for my dress, that saved us about 1k.

We were pretty much on target!!!! We also booked vendors early & made sure we stuck to our numbers. If we splurged in areas, then we cut back in others!
All in all, we did a great job planning!

To be honest i have no idea ....my mom didnt really hold me to a budget ....but im sure she would have said something if she felt i was really breaking the bank

we didn't have a budget really ...we just knew what the maximum on certain items would be....if that makes any sense??? With that idea, we did well.

We pretty much stayed on budget by $500-700 or so.
I am glad we had set one. I could have gone 'crazy' if I was not reminded by what DH and I had agreed on.
