None of the above... it was the day before my birthday but that's not why he did it. He was going to ask when we were away on vacation the next week but he got impatient and he thought I knew because I was being 'too nice.' ![]()

Long story, but I LOVE IT!!!
FH had me meet him in the city (where he was supposedly meeting with clients - he wasn't!) for dinner and wouldn't tell me where. He texted me the address of where to meet him while I was on the train-- turns out to be Morton's. After a romantic dinner for 2 we went for a walk to Central Park. He asked if I've ever been on one of those horse and carriage rides. I said yes, and it was a waste of money! (There goes that idea!) He was getting all nervous and flustered and before I knew it he proposed by the pond! We were all alone, and it was perfect! Then he asked it it was the best night ever and when I said yes he said, 'Good, because it's not over yet!' We went to the Marriott an he took me right up to our room (surprise!) and he had wrote in rose petals 'I'll love you 4-ever.' He had chilled champagne ready too! And some clothes for us to stay the night!

I selected outdoors since it was at Yankee Stadium and I love telling this story lol.
In between the top and the botton of the 5th inning - it was the last announcement on the Fan Marquee.
'Eloise - I love you, will you marry me? Love, Mike' was on the HUGE jumbotron in center field and heard through the PA system in all of Yankee Stadium during a Red Sox game!!! The whole stadium cheered!!!
My parents also got last minute tix to the game so they were there - my dad had a 'feeling' it was going to happen!!!!

We went into the city a few weeks before Christmas and he did it in Rockerfeller Center while we were at the tree :) It was the best day ever!!! ![]()

We were in San Juan on vacation and we went to the beach mid way through the vacation and he popped the question on the beach (my fav place to be EVER!)

Grand Canyon... We took one of those helicopter flights from Vegas that lands on the floor of the canyon. He proposed while we were out walking around in the canyon.

We went to my favorite restaurant then to the beach at sunset. He proposed right on the shoreline. Then surprised me with champagne and strawberries It was amazing..:![]()

On a cruise ship.....in his uniform....the night of the captain's gala. It made for some rather entertaining moments since his uniform could look 'kinda, sorta, maybe, not really' like the ship's officer uniforms (well to someone who doesn't really know the difference between them). Twas great walking around the ship with a bottle of champagne in his hand asking people where the bridge was and that he was due on watch in a 'few minutes.' The deer in the headlights looks were hysterical.

My FH decided last minute to propose on Easter last year in front of my entire family. It was so unexpected because I was trying to leave (had to teach in the am). And my aunt was screaming so loud that I'm surprised that police officers didn't come to the place!! ![]()

It happened when we went to the City to see the tree... He did it at Top of the Rock in Rockerfeller center overlooking the entire city!
