HOW DID HE DO IT?

My question to all you girls is: How did your fiancee propose to you?

It was last year on my birthday. He called me really early and asked me to come over for breakfast. When I get there, there are rose petals all over the hallway, living room and leading to his bedroom. So I looked at him kind of puzzled and asked him what that was about. He said there's something for you in the bedroom. So I walk into his room and on his bed there are rose petals spread out on the bed in the shape of a heart. In the middle of the heart, there is a small black box. So I picked it up somewhat disappointed. Since it was my b-day, it was far from me that he would propose on that day. So I thought it was another necklace, earrings...blah blah blah

So anyway I pick up the box and open it and was shocked. I turned around to go back into the living room and as I turned around he was standing behind me the whole time. He got down on one knee and the rest is history.....

Sorry for the lengthy story

We went to a friends wedding at Stewart Manor on My FH's birthday. I spent the day running around doing errands and when I realized it was time to get ready for the wedding I was so stressed I told him I didn't want to go. Well he forced me to get dressed and we went and he just kept insisting I woud have a good time although I didn't think I would because the only people we knew that would be there were the bride, groom and FH's brother and SIL and that was it. Well the more I drank the better I felt.
The it came time for the bouquet toss. I did not want to stand up but my FSIL made me, she stood with me which confused me since she is married and was pregnant. The the bride threw the boo-k and of course it came right to me. Then I got all paranoid because I though some guy I don't know is gonna catch the garter and he'll be touching my leg and my boyfriend will freak out. Next thing I know I turn around and my FH is holding the garter. What a relief.
Then we got in the center of the dance floor. The DJ gave my FH the mic and said do you have anything to say. So my FH congratulated the bride and groom. Then he announced it was his birthday so everyone applauded. The he said,'This just so happens to be my girlfriend of 7 years. She is my best friend and I love her with my whole heart and ..' Then he got down on one knee in front of all these people and asked me to marry him.
I later found out he had planned it all with the bride and groom months earlier. When I look at all the pics now you can see that when they did the boo-k toss all of the girls stood like 5 feet behind me and the same for him with the garter because as pople walked in they told them that I had to catch the boo-k .

Here is mine:
July 2nd 2004, the night before my FH and I decided we were going to drive to Foxwoods to do some gambling and play alittle bingo. (little to my knowledge he was going to propose a different day orignally he was going to meet me in Florida where I was going alone for a convention).
We went to Foxwoods, and we had breakfast. He made me go and buy a camera from a store, this was to get me out of the resturant.
He put this card that he hand made that said will you marry me susan into my Mystry envelope for bingo. I came back and we went to bingo. We got to the bingo hall and he opened his mystery envelope (to get me to open mine) and actually won $100 bucks (lol). So I open mine and I thought I won like VIP or something because I saw this purple card, then I read it and was like no way!!! turned around and there he was with ring in hand, people clapping in the bingo hall.... it was nuts (totally his style).
