Hey- were the girls that attended Carol's wedding at the reception as well as the church?
I was wondering how her gorgeous, intricate bustle held up?
does anyone know if it was arranged by ties or buttons??

my bustle was absolutely, positively gorgeous!!! it held up the entire night and is still tied up in the bag! it was my favorite part and everyone commented on it all night.
it was held up by ties underneath. i think there were 27-29 bustle points. phyllis at gownfind did a phenomenal job!!
i have no pics yet, but there are some from my fitting in my album.
i'm leaving for tahiti now! see you all in 2 weeks!

I loved your bustle from your fitting pics!!!!!!!!!! So glad to hear it held up for you! It's amazing.
I would love a bustle like that but I have an organza overlay, so I don't know if it's possible.

p.s. so your maid of honor was able to do the ties, I guess, then? How many ties were there? As many as the points?

i'm sitting here waiting for my ride to pick me up to go to the airport!
the bridal attendant and 2 of my BMs did it together to save time. there are double as many ties as points--for example--there are 2 number '5' ties---you tie those 2 together and they make a 'pick up' on the bustle. i call them points--but i guess the correct word is pickup. phyliss charged me $75 for that beautiful bustle which was an unbelievably inexpensive amount considering a regular bustle is often over $100
okay...now i'm REALLY leaving! i will post proofs when i get them!
