We went to the empire state building, and went through the metal dector and after 8 attempts of it going off and tryin to get through w/ my ring in the box, he finally gave up slammed the box w/ the ring in it and said to the guy u just ruined everything, the guy looked at me and said to me Sorry. i started to cry knowing what was gonn happen, and i told him u can do it another day and he said okay i will. So we went to the top anyways and he ended up getting down on one knee said that he loves being with me and how i make him feel like he's on the top of the world and ask me to be his wife.... and i said NO
haha yeeah right can u imagine? of course i said YES!

much more romantic then how we met! lol

Thats sooooo cute!

My fiance proposed to me at Nassau Coliseum. My parents were there, and so was his mother. He had been planning it out since July of 2006. He kept a record of everything he was planning. He pulled it off really well, because I had no idea what was going on. He contacted someone from the New York Islanders and he had it worked out were someone was going to come over to where we were sitting and ask me if I wanted to answer a 'trivia question'. I at first put up a fight, (a little shy to be on a scoreboard!!) then I gave in and said OK, I will answer the trivia question. When the first period was almost over, the woman and a camera man came over to us and they brought a few of the Islanders Ice Girls (sort of like hockey cheerleaders) with them, and they asked me what my name is and were my fiance and I were from (which they already knew all this because this was all planned out from the get go). One of the ice girls said my fiance, and my family can help me answer the trivia question. Then they told me to look up at the scoreboard, and my trivia question will appear. I looked up, and the question appeared VERY SLOWLY!!! The scoreboard read: 'Melinda will you marry me? Love, David'. I was so shocked and so happy. I couldn't believe that this was happening and how romantic it was how he proposed. To this day I look back on that day, and, it just puts a smile on my face. It made me realize how much we love each other. Both of our families were very happy about this. The ring was the most amazing ring. I love it so much. He picked out the ring all on his own which makes it even more special. He knew that I would love it and that, that ring was what I would like. It was the most amazing feeling that I got when he asked me to marry him. It was a wonderful feeling. Every girl should get to feel this wonderful feeling of love,happiness, excitement and joy. I am so happy and in love with a great guy. I can't wait to marry him.

my fh and i went out to dinner for our 2 years ann. while we were there his parent came with us and I was like why would you invite your parents to dinner with us on our anniversary. He was they wanted to come. I was like on No problem. We went out to *** steakhouse. I've never been there before and my fh loves that place. So we went in the back and we ate and his mom was like how about i give you your dessert i was like im not hurngry for dessert. So us ladies went into the bathroom and i said to his mom if paul going to do something please done have him do it here. She like he isnt going to do anything. I was like ok but just to make sure i whispered in his ear that same thing. He was like close your eyes. i was like no. He dad kicks him under the table and goes you got to do what you got to do,. and then he gets us and get on one knee and was like will you marry me? I was like yes... and he da got up and was like welcome to the family. Now he did it infront of all the ppl in the resturant and i was so embrassed. when we got up to leave they were all like congrats, lets see the ring, I was like get me out of here iver already been embrassed enough. LOL
I knew it was coming...... and i love being with him.....

He took me back to where we met, Hofstra University!! It was the best day of my life!

HE DID IT AT OUR FAV RESTURANT IL BACO ON NORTHERN BLVD. THE RESTURANT WAS PACKED. IT WAS SWEET IT TOOK ALOT FOR HIM TO DO THAT HE IS REALLY SHY.
