HOW did this Durst guy get off....

It is amazing! They interviewed the jurors last night and they said that they didnt go with what they thought. They went with the evidence that the prosecution presented. They said the defense conviced them to concentrate on just the killing and not what he did with the bodies afterward and that is what they did. I guess they thought it was self defense. They also think he was involved in his wifes disappearance. Unbelievable!

the only thing that comes to my head is the instructions to the jury...I would love to see a transcript of them...they must have been VERY specific that they could not use the post killing behavior to determine the prekilling behavior


I'm not too up on the case, but it seems that the prosecution only went for murder? perhaps if they had offered a manslaughter option, the jury could have chosen that...


I really don't blame the jury...I have sat on a jury and things are not as simple as they seem...I blame the prosecution and the DAs office

I just read that...it is APALLING
That he got off, and found not guilty.
But he will probably serve time in jail for jumping bail.

They said that they never founf the victim's head, and that probably was the key factor.

Most times our system works better for the defendant! which really stinks!

I don't ever want a guilty man out of jail, but I would rather see that than an innocent man in jail...so in someways you have to accept events like these...to make sure we have our individual natural rights...
