How did u pick your flowers? and some other flower advice needed

did u bring pictures of things you liked or did you just explain what you are interested in?

my BM's are gonna have a Calla lily bo-k (like in my pic) do u think if I had Giant Cala lilies for my center pieces (like Jola's centerpiece - i love it) that will be too many calla lilies??? should i mix it up a little bit in the centerpieces ?? What do you all think? TIA

I went to John (Flower Michele) with pictures and a color scheme in mind.

He encouraged my ideas and came up with some great suggestions!

I think what you're describing will look elegant and gorgeous!


Originally, I wanted hot pink and salmon thrown in the mix...but after John's suggestions, went with I wanted a monochromatic look...since the BM's and GM were wearing black...I went with shades of red.

While my flowers and the FG's flower balls were all roses...the BM's and CP's had dahlia's, mini calla's, cockscomb (only in CP) and a couple of other flowers as well. The men all wore a single mini calla lily - DH in white and the GM in red.
