How did you ask your BM?

How did you ask your BM to be in the bridal party. I am in a dilemma! I do not know what to do. I have 3 or 4 girls...not sure about the 4th FH sister up to him. One girl is in NC and is 31, MOH is my sister and is 42 and the last is 15. I wanted to send each of them something like flowers but I am not sure. I do not want to go crazy spending money but I need ideas. LADIES HELP!!

I have trouble thinking out of the box, that is why I ask you ladies!!

I created a Photostory with pictures of my fiance and I, our engagement, and Coindre Hall. Then I had sections of us with our bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl and ring bearer. At the end of the video, I asked them whether they would be part of our wedding. I mailed a cd to each person and waited until they watched it.

WOw thats awsome. Mine just kinda knew they were in it...and I confirmed. No frills really Now i feel bad!

That was a really great idea!

I am not a sentimental type person, so after I initially bought sappy cards...and stared at them in semi disgust...I went back to Hallmark, bought some of those funny fresh ink cards (the really funny ones, not shoebox) that I felt fit for each of my BM and I...and I wrote them all a long note as to why I wanted them to be in the BP...at the end I wrote Will you be my bridesmaid? Then at my engagement party, I gathered them all in the room and gave them their cards...nothing too creative but I felt it fit me and my personality

I came up with something that so fits me, but I have friends on this site who are in my wedding, so FM me if you want details. One of my friends gave us a picture frame and a book (i.e., For Better or Worse, Something Borrowed, etc.) that was wedding related. Very cute!! I'll probably have a brunch/lunch at my apartment one afternoon to officially ask them too!

I made cards for my bridal party each one was different except for the poem used the same one on each. I put pics from way back when till now for each one, I also made them each up a gift bag with lots of goodies. heres pics of the cards

i just asked!

-3 of them were my sisters so they knew they were in the wedding.
-2 were really old friends that i just took out to dinner and asked them then
-1 was SIL and i asked her in front of MIL/FIL to get brownie points with the whole 'i want all of my sisters in my BP and now that you're my sister you HAVE to be in it!'...they ate it up!

What we're doing is a lil different. We decided against an engagement party, we celebrated w/ family & friends more so on an individual basis.

What we're to officially ask our BP:

This June we're hosting a dinner party, (right now I'm looking in to restaurants w/ a private room, it's only going to be 30-40 people).

We're taking everyone to dinner, & inviting them to be in the bridal party.

Everyone wil recieve a Bridal Newsletter, w/ information they should know, as well as everyone's contact info, & a calender of events w/ dates & times, etc.

The Girls will get:

Summer tank w/ our logo & date on the back reading their title (BM, MOH, etc)

The Guys will get:

Polo shirts w/ our monogram

well i have sisters and they knew that they were pretty much in it automaticly. and my 2 nieces just pretty much knew that i would ask them. and of course my sister knew her daughter would be flower girl. and FH sister was pretty much a give in considering its his only sister. wow 8 girls we have alot of work to do

I made them each a card with the poem 'Will You Be My Bridesmaid?' and a t-shirt with Bridesmaid, Matron of Honor and Maid of Honor on them just for fun.
