How did you ask your bridesmaids

Im looking for a different way to ask the girls I've chosen to be my BM. Any ideas or stories to share

i made my own will you be my bridesmaid cards for all the girls...
for my sisters i gave them each a doz roses with the cards...

for my best friend as well as my moh i made a scrapbook of pics, sayings poems of us through the yrs that we have been friends. The last few pages were all wedding things and there was a poem w. all that mushy stuff asking her to be my moh. Then i had on the next page a letter from me to her...
funny thing is shes getting married 5 months after me and she did the same thing for me when she asked me to be her moh!
well actually she asked me 1st but i already started the book...but hey great minds think alike!! haha

I totally just told them that they were in my wedding party!!! Thank GOD no one said NO!!!!!

another idea i had was get each of them a bo-k of cookies from
www.cookiesbydesign.com and have them delievered w. a card or have them write will you be my BM on a cookie...
thought my idea was cute and diff......but once i saw the price i didnt look into it any further! but again if $ isnt an issue...take a look at the site!

I did these DIY projects- each one had a different poem..I sent them in the mail to everyone......

I made cards for each girl and I put a different poem inside for each girl...the pics are in my album..

I made some what of a card for them, and then mailed it to them...doesnt sound all that personal but they loved it and it was nice to get the call of excitement from each one of them

I just made a point to ask them all in person. Actually, one of them was really funny - she's from out of town and we were out with friends all night, so the only time I could get her alone was while I was leaving and she was waving goodbye from my friends balcony. I yelled up to her and asked her then. Later when I apologized for the way I asked she said 'That's ok, it was very Romeo and Juliet.'

I love all the different ways. Thanks. So far I think Im going with a card and a poem. Money is a issue so I want something nice but not $$$.

I basically took a few out to dinner separately and asked them. The others just knew and already started talking to me about the wedding.

I had wanted a kings wedding , so it was only going to be a moh, ( my aunt) so i asked her face go face & she bawled to death,,

then after some thinking i changed my mind, so i asked my girls by giving them a votive like the table cards , cept it said will u be my brides maid,, I did that for my sil, & my good friend from high school, i wrote her a poem & put it on a magnet,,

I still havent asked - Im gonna wait until like Sept/Oct ... FH is still deciding with 2 of his freinds - how they are acting towards him is making him change his mind all the time lol

I bought cards from target that are blank inside, and im gonna write a poem in each one, and give it to them ... the cards were $1 each, and they are soo cute!

I bought some will you be my bridesmaid cards from isadoraink.com and I'm gonna write a different poem for each girl and give it to them at a BBQ we're hosting this summer
