I'm seeing my 7 year old cousin on Sunday. She was my brother's flower girl... and I want her to be mine too! I don't see her too often, so I am going to ask her on Sunday... I'm wondering if anyone did anything special when they asked someone to be their flower girl/ring bearer?
I was thinking of maybe making a card...hmmm

I asked the flower girl & ring bearer parents first.
My nephew actually asked me if he could be in the wedding party, which I said of course he will be in the wedding party. As for my nieces my brother & SIL told them that they will have to do something special at my wedding.

we went to sunday brunch and i bought her a bouquet of flowers and gave her a little poem
A little lady carries flowers and brings a small bouquet She helps us as we celebrate a joyful wedding day She is a princess in her gown A picture come to life She brings such joy in helping us Become man and wife We are glad that she can stand with us So, graceful and so tall and help make this special time The very best of all.
Will you be my flowergirl?

I technically never officially ask the FG to be the FG LOL... I will probably ask after FSIL's wedding in May because she is a FG in their wedding as well.

My neice actually asked me to be the flower girl but since she will be 12 and she is very tall for her age I told her no.... I want you to be my Jr. BM. You should have seen her face when I said no at first- she looked crushed I am such a mean aunt

Im asking my 4 year old neice in two weeks ... I got her the book 'The Flower Girl' and her sister a Fisher Price bride/groom block set. My nephew I got 'The Ring Bearer' book and his sister who is only 8 months Fisher Price Little People Bride/Groom. Ill take pictures and upload later. VERY cute

i never asked... actually FH's niece came to me with pouty lips.. and said 'I'm gonna get to wear a pretty dress right?' she was only 4 at the time so that was her way of telling me she wants to be the fg
