Are you matching your dress? Or going with a certain style you prefer? I have no clue what I should get...

Re: how did you decide on your tiara/head piece?
i just kind of remembered my gown, and though 'this is pretty, and it will go nicely'
i also remembered how when i was in the dress shop and they put a veil / tiara on me, and it was PERFECT....BUT the price was , so when i went to barron's at tri-county i kind of replicated the same style they put me in at the bridal shop!

I went to Thomas Knoell with a pic of my dress and hair style and said 'work your magic' Within seconds he pulled out just what I was looking for

I found one in the bridal suite that matched my dress perfectly. - but it was $270!! So I took some pics of it and went searching online. I found one VERY similar that I like even better and it was $60
Here are some pics
The $270 one
And the $60 one that I got

Re: how did you decide on your tiara/head piece?
When I went to get mine, I actually brought pictures of my dress with me. The guy at Barron's in Tri-County, looked at the picture and just started pulling some out he thought I would like.
I did give him an idea of the height, but after trying on only 5, I found the perfect 1

I just knew that i didnt want a tiara and that i would preffer pins. It worked out for me that my SIL offered for me to borrow her hair pins form her wedding ( which I loved) so I got lucky

Re: how did you decide on your tiara/head piece?
I actually was against having a tiara the whole time. I wanted a back comb for my hair. That is, until my first fitting when the shop owner put a tiara on my head and I absolutely fell in love! I just went with the one that fit me and my head the best....i didnt bother matching it to my dress or anything.

I actually got my tiara first! I didn’t even think I’d want one. FH proposed while we were living in London, and we got my tiara from the “Royal Collection” at the Tower of London. It was 150 pounds, which is about 300 dollars. I brought it with me to dress fittings, and it doesn’t exactly match my dress, but I love the way they look together!

I bought mine when I bought my dress. It was easier to pick one out when I actually had the dress on, I wanted it to complement my beading.

Re: how did you decide on your tiara/head piece?
I was so confused with what veil / headpiece / hairstyle I should choose. I finally found a veil I REALLY love, and ordered it. It's a mantilla, so no headpiece to worry about!
