How did you discover LIW??

I was doing a search online for that book that Newsday puts out - 'Long Island Weddings of Distinction' and this site ended up on the search! So glad it did!

I think I was searching for Bridal Expos or shows. I googled Long Island Wedding Shows.. and here I am.

I was addicted in 34days. End of story.

I am still on the knot but it's such a pain to use.

Here's a new one .. after we got engaged my FH FOUND this site for ME! We were only having a 7 month engagement, and I was freaking out that I didn't know how I would be able to plan a wedding on Long Island when I knew NOTHING about Long Island (raised & still live in Westchester)...

He found it when he googled 'long island wedding' and , of course, this site was one of the first that popped up!

At first I think he was on here more than me (he never posted but loved to read everything). I lurked for awhile because I was too shy to post, then I plunged right in .. I think I became addicted in record time, just about 2 months! Guess I got over my shyness really quick! LOL

And to think FH makes fun of me being on here all the time .. I tell him its ALL HIS FAULT!

I believe it was longisland.com I have been using the vendor listings and count down clock for about 2 years now! I just started posting!

FSIL in law has planned her wedding already (doesnt even have a BF) and she told me about the sight. I found it after being a Knottie for about 2 months -- I am so glad I did
