How did you... (excel related)

Do your guest list on excel? Did you just make a few rows of boxes and put in the addresses or is it more complicated than that?

I have everything separated out into columns
Mr./Ms., First Name, Last Name, Guest First, Guest Last, Street Address, Town, State, # invited, who they are a guest of & then a column for response.

It helped when I needed to get the envelopes printed- I just sent the invite lady the spreadsheet and everything was all there.

Mine was over the top.

I have everything - names, guest names, address, email addresses, my estimate of how many people I thought would come (totalled on the bottom), my ACTUAL count (also totalled on the bottom), a column for gifts, a column for bridal shower invites and bridal shower gifts....

I heart excel though.

This is what I did. I made a '# of Guests' column and put 2, 1, etc in that column so that I could make a SUM at the end. I think I also did a 'Will Come?' column, which I had originally put 'Yes' or 'No' in - all speculative of course, so I could get an idea of how many would come - but I then changed it to how many people I thought would come out of that party, so I could also do a sum.

And, I have a 'STD sent?' column (with yes or no in the column, just to keep track of who was sent one and who wasn't - mostly sent to OOTers and close, close family, this way if someone has to be taken off the list I will know who got an STD and who didn't) and a 'Shower?' column to indicate who I would like / expect at the shower, should my mom ask for a list ....

I went all out.

I downloaded something from www.weddingnsw.com for free it gave me an excel sheet with a check list, planner, guest tracker and table seating charts.

How do I make it so that I am able to type more than one line in an excel box? I want the box to fit:

Mr & Mrs Mima
55 Mima Road
Mimaland, NY 11730

Ok, but if I'm entering the first line of the address... Mr. & Mrs. Mima... how do I get to type the 2nd line? It just seems to take me to the next box.
