Um, he kind of stalked me around our neighborhood, but he was really cute so I liked it. I took his business card (he's an optician) for a glasses upgrade (I never wear my glasses!

ctually met FH online too... eharmony actually. Its hard finding guys to date being a female Officer in the military and a guy friend of mine had good luck with it so i was bored one night when I was on the road and tried it out. I thought he looked really cute and by the time we got to emailing i was like wow I really connect with this guy. I had never done the online thing so i was SO nervous to actually meet him so we had our first date at a coffee shop. We stayed there so long talking that they kicked us out and he asked me to dinner that night. We went to dinner and it went well so I asked him out for drinks. Unfortunately for me, practically everyone i ever met in my life walked into that bar that night and walked up to us. In fact, when we were leaving we did the awkward hug thing and walked to our respective cars. Well he walked back in front of the bar and a group of my airmen who had watched the whole thing started banging on the windows as he walked past. Worked out for the best though, 8 months later we moved in together and on our year anniversary he proposed. Couldn't be happier.

FH started working as PT temp help during the summer when he was in college. I still remember exactly what he was wearing when they introduced me to him.
I was dating 'peanut boy' at the time and FH was so young I didn't even think of ever dating him. We starting talking over the next few months and we liked a lot of the same things - especially horror movies. We'd stand in the parking lot for hours after work just talking.
He really liked me and I thought he was a stalker lol. I canceled a lot on him etc when we made plans to hang out.
took me a LONG time but eventually I realized that I was nuts not to actually date him. It sorta hit me like a brick.
we've been together for 8 years.
Ours was a totally random chance meeting. His friend (who I had never met) lived down the street from me and last summer the street I lived on had a block party. His friend invited him to the party and that's how we met. Funny thing is that I was REALLY drunk the night we met. I was partying on my front lawn and didn't have to drive anywhere and was not expecting to meet the love of my life so I wasn't too concerned about how much I had to drink. But he got my number and we went on a (sober) date a week later. We had been texting constantly the whole week, so by the time our first date came around we had really connected and were excited to see eachother again. He said 'I love you' on our second date and 8 months later we were engaged!

isn't it great finding another horror fan? that's one of my favorite things about fh is all the horror movies we can watch together. plus get married in Oct, plus go to haunted houses, and it's just so glorious.
