How did you find out....

Well, my first clue was my mom mentioning something about being at Vicky's, the woman we use for invitations. So I knew it was being planned.

Second, after not checking my registry for awhile, one of the posts about peeking prompted me to, and i found that stuff was gone, so i knew it was coming up.

Third, i'm a complete sneak, and while my parents were out of the house, I looked all over the place until one day I finally found where my mom was keeping all the shower stuff, and found the receipt with the date and time (2 hours from now!!!!)

I'm feeling quite guilty. I would have been suspicious anyhow, b/c we are supposedly going for brunch for FH's b-day, which we have never done with my family, and we're going to the same place where my sister's shower was.

Is it bad that I already know about mine and its not until Aug.

Well I am able to read my FH's e-mail and his mom had sent him an e-mail saying I need to talk to you when I am not around. I thought oh my goodness what the heck is she going to say about me
Then I went home this past week and was looking for the list she sent over regarding the wedding because I am sending out my STD's and saw OK it's all set for Aug 28th and she gave the whole scenario as to what they are going to tell me and what not

my mom asked to talk to dh one day before the shower then told him to put me on the phone.. i was told we where going to dinner with my step dad' s parents as a wedding pre dinner yeah ok
then my sister asked me what i was doing for sunday that mommy just called and aske dher to go to the dinner also ..i thought it was a pre wedding dinner why would she be going?
then my sil went into labor and my brother was saying how he was hoping he could makeit out here that weekend to show off the baby (2 days old) and then he said that he was planning to go to a friends house to cover up..
the best was on the day of the shower i was running around to get ready and my cloths was not drying in time.. then i called my mom to tell her we would be about an hour late.. she flipped but the way she flipped i was still not sure.. so i ran to check on line at my registry and nothing really was missing from the days before(it was not that great for me got a few doubles) so the bottom line was i was sure and at the same time not to sure!!
