Re: How did you know that this is the dress?
When I put it on, I didn't want to take it off! I just sat in the store with it on and looked at myself at every angle and was sad when the store was closing and I had to give it back!
Pretty pathetic!

Re: How did you know that this is the dress?
I put it on and loved it, I felt like it was the one. When I went home and pretty much every time after that when I pictured my wedding, I was always in that gown!!!

This just happened to me on Friday. I put it on and would not take it off. I had the woman in the store bustle me and then I wlaked around asking people if the liked me dress. I took pictures and have not atopped showing people. I have to stop before people get sick of it. I guess that's when you know. Did you find yours???

I felt like a Princess, a Queen, and a star all at the same time. I felt beautiful and like saying 'Can't touch this'

Re: How did you know that this is the dress?
You just know. I went back to Macy's to retry on some dresses and there my dress was. It was sitting on a rack by itself and something made me put it on. I put it on and felt like a queen - I started to cry, my mom started to cry - you just know!!!!!!

It was the first one I tried on and after 20 more dresses, they could all not compare to that first 'one'

Do you have a dress you think might be 'the one'?

Re: How did you know that this is the dress?
Like StayandJohn said, I too, cried when I saw myself and so did my mother.. mind you, I HATED the dress when I saw it and didn't pick it out, which brings me to another point, def try on a dif variety of dresses, the dress I got was one that the consultant picked out for me..

Re: How did you know that this is the dress?
Thanks for this thread-- I have not found a dress yet that I have liked enough to say 'this is it'-- and all the sales people keep telling me that people don't really cry or anything like that and that if I find a dress that looks good on me that I like but did not get that feeling I should just stop looking.

Re: How did you know that this is the dress?
I asked the same question right before Thanksgiving. Basically, I didn't cry (but my FMIL did) and didn't like it at first. Before I left the store, I tried it on again and liked it. However, the woman helping me said that if I didn't love it, then don't get it. I thought about this dress for about 2 weeks and the more I thought about it, the more I really liked it. Needless to say, I went back and bought this dress. I am not head over heels in love with this dress, but I generally don't get too emotional about clothing. However, I am so comfortable, physically and mentally, in this dress. I can just see myself sitting on the couch with my feet up in this dress - that's how comfortable I am in this dress and that's important to me. I was looking for a dress that looked good on me, but the dress was not top priority for me. Good luck!

Re: How did you know that this is the dress?
The first dress I tried on I knew was the one. It was my second choice, but after a few people seeing it, they thought I was very elegant looking in it, and I know I'm going to have my FH's eyes pop out when I walk down the aisle.Welcome New Vendors
