YOUR BRIDAL SHOWER WAS APPROACHING???! I am driving myself nuts. Something is telling me it is this Sunday, but then there are reasons why it wouldn't be this sunday. I just feel like it is too early if it is this Sunday, but FH and my Mom have been acting strange. And, I saw my mom and aunt whispering last weekend. And, then my friend texted me and told me her gifts are probably going to be late (shipping, she lives upstate) and then I was trying to find out when it was and she said June??! Uhhhh, I think the gifts will arrive before June! And, apparently FH won some contest and his company is putting us up in a hotel on nauticle mile this saturday, which means we will be away from the house which is where the bridal shower is. So, I am thinking is this all a lie and when we come back on Sunday is everyone going to be in my back yard??? Now, I have to pack a whole ton of make up, nice shoes, and come back all dressed up---which I don't want to! I didn't even start to go tanning, I was going to start in June!!! I AM FREAKING OUT!!! Also, a lot of gifts were bought yesterday.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what do you guys think!?

That would drive me crazy!.. that's why I don't think I want my shower to be a surprise because I catch on very easily when things seem off. My family and friends are terrible at trying to keep secrets lol and I catch on to body language very easily......maybe its just a decoy weekend maybe to get you to think its happening sunday lol

Just go with the flow and enjoy it. The fact that you think it might be tomorrow you seem to be prepared so that's a good thing. Keep us posted if it is

Thanks guys. I am very nervous because I am such a shy person. I honestly don't know if its this weekend. But, I do know its between now and the first weekend in June. I will let you all know.

This is why I told my mother I need to know the date... October 19th it is.... I don't know anything else. I'd go crazy if I had no idea... I hate surprises especially ones where I am supposed to look my best :)

I am feeling exactly like you right now! I am listening into everyone's conversations in the chance that they will spill something!!! I have a feeling mine may be tomorrow to or the next coming week. From what you were stating it seems like your shower will be tomorrow and I totally think that you husband winning the free night at a hotel is definitely a lie! haha let us know what ends up happening!

My sister got a surprise bridal shower last year. She is usually one to catch onto surprises, but she never caught on. I have a video of her being surprised and it is the cutest thing.
Enjoy it when it comes! I personally find surprises (nice ones lol) lots of fun.

I've hated every surprise shower I've been to. The person always knows (or is speculating like in this post). I just don't understand why you would want to be surprised for something you KNOW you're having. Sorry to be a wedding Debbie Downer. It's just so much extra work for your family and friends and is it REALLY a surprise? It's not like a birthday party which you aren't sure you're having a party. Actually I hate all showers. I find the games really stupid. I want to have a shower to celebrate all the fun my friends and family have brought into my life since my engagement and get to spend time with them. But there will be no surprise, no games, and just food and chatting. I'd like to not open presents either, but I'm not sure if I can get away with that!

Hey Guys, what a crazy weekend! YES, it was this past Sunday. I really had no idea. My phone had died while we were at nautical mile and I couldn't come on to check the posts on here or look at my registry! They really REALLY got me. I thought for sure that it was way too earlier. And, when we pulled up to the house there were no cars, no tents, it was quiet. I opened up the gate to about 50 people with cameras. I was so SHOCKED that i walked away, screamed omg, and then i was SHAKING!!! I just really didn't think it would be SO soon. They said they threw it in May because they KNEW i would think it was in June! hahaha. It was great, the food was amazing, and my FH even stayed and helped open gifts which I loved. I can't believe I had my shower! BUT, I did learn one thing, NO MORE SURPRISES!!! I can't handle it! lol
