I met my FI on the Computer... (lol) I know it sounds crazy... I was watching a Soccer game that TV was not xmitting, a Soccer game from El Salvador... We started talking of Soccer thing... And we became E-Friends.... then was the exchange of Email address... Phone number... We were in messenger every night... We did some Video Conversations....
After 2 months... We decided to meet....
We Meet in NYC , The Empire State Building =) (since He used to lived in NJ and I live in LI... NYC was the middle ) We clicked right away....

lol i met my fh on DEER PARK AVENUE. for all u brides to be who know of this will laugh hysterical!
In high school, some guy took me to DPA on our first date. and left me at the shopping center while him and his buddies raced each other...def did not go on a second date with him after he stranded me!

Amazing how many couples met online...that's awesome!!! I met FH about 8 and a half years ago as sophomores in college...he was the creepy kid who used to give me the googly eyes in the hallway....lol...and then I fell in love!

hahah this is exactly how it happened with us.
I still have our first emails we sent. We emailed for about 2 weeks. In one the emails, he asked me to marry him (as a joke of course, but it's funny looking back now).
I asked him about match and how long he has been on, and he said 'not long, and i'm not going to rejoin since I already met my future wife.' hehehe

A few years ago I had been on for a short time and he had contacted me but I had gone on a few dates with someone else and cancelled my account before we ever emailed or anything.... A year later I went back on and saw him on there (he had just signed back up a few days earlier too! Talk about fate!) and 'winked' at him in the first day or so of being back on but never said anything about the year before thinking he didn't realize it was me. When we had been dating for a few months and he had never brought it up I pretended to be mad one night and asked why I had to wink at him and he said 'because I winked at you last year and you ignored me!' Haha turned out we both realized and neither one of us thought the other had!
So I met him within days of us both rejoining and we both closed our accounts after the first date.

I coached his little sister's competitive cheerleading team. She told me 100 times that her brother was in the military and when he came home on leave I had to meet him. I had another boyfriend at the time but my FH came to pick his little sister up from practice we got to talking,I broke up with my then boyfriend 2 days later and the FH and I have been together ever since.
Well not together physically everyday due to the fact he is still active duty air force, but you know what I mean!

We met through friends that were dating at the time. I always knew of FH, my friend's boyfriend's best friend but he always had a gf & I had a bf. After dating my ex for 5 1/2 years & it going no where, we broke up & then I began finding the jerks in between..ew. I was so done with guys all together. My friend kept trying to convince me to meet him & I knew what he looked like & was like 'heeeelll no!' he's gonna be such an *******.. I finally agreed to basically shut her up, almost cancelling the last minute, but I didn't want to do that to my friend since it would be the 4 of us going to a bar. We met I played it like I didn't care even though I was really into him. He chased me like crazy trying to prove himself to me..being totally different than I had anticipated..needless to say it only took 2 weeks & we were in love & the rest is history
