How did you seal your envelopes?

Is there a special pen to buy to seal or did you just use a sponge and water or even stickers?

I don't know what I should do to seal them.

I started with the water....but the lining was too thick...so I used glue stick!

I wish I would of known that before I sent my invites... it would of made them look so much neater..oh well..

The women I bouht my invitations from told me the best way to seal them is with double sided tape. I thought 'great more work to do'. I already have to fold them and tie ribbons on them. haha

i know this might sound gross but i licked them

there is a plastic tube you can buy in any supply store where you can put water in and it has a little sponge cover...or check your work supply closet..i'm sure you can find spare of glue

Makes me think of that STUPID episode of Seinfeld- the only way they could kill George's fiance off was to say she died licking envelopes for the wedding invitations!

I'm a BIG fan of the gluestick- I refuse to lick envelopes. FH thinks I'm a 'p ussy' for that- he was fine licking envelopes for our save the dates!

Glue stick works the best!

Nothing fancy, just the regular kind you buy in Staples or Office Max.

The water sponges can get messy ... too much water, too little water, etc
