How Did You Seal Your Invitation Envelopes?

Some sort of glue or something?

i got a 'glue' stick from staples...had a sponge on the end and you just squeeze it...don't put too much though. then i put a pretty seal on it ( : beats licking them!

I used glue stick. I started with a sponge, but it was buckeling the paper.
The glue stick worked perfect and the seam was flat and neat.

I used a glue stick and then sealed it with a faux-wax monogrammed seal. In this picture, you can sort of see the seal we used.

Where do you purchase a faux wax seal? What does it have on it? Your initials or something? I'm so clueless!

Thank you for posting the pic of these - I was able to get them on the corner of my office at a stationery store since I knew what to look for!

I used a wax seal. I got the supplies from Nostalgic Impressions.

I used the glue gun wax and this seal:

It took a little practice to get the seal to look good, but once I got the hang of it it was easy.

I used an envelope sealer stick. You can get them at Staples.

If you're up to licking all those envelopes, go for it!

I used a glue stick...I sealed the inner envelope with a faux wax seal.

nah...we did to
it didnt take long

we forgot to order the self seal envoples for a mere 10 bucks extra...inquire when you order invites about the self sticker sealing envoples.. soughta like stamps when u peal it off

oooh- we just got those at work!

Elileen--it is so funny that you asked--I bought a glue stick at staples on my way home, ( i had a half day , HAD to mailthem invties that next day. I stuff them all by myself, but it the glue didn't' work!
So, when Jean came hoem we went BACK to a bigger stpales & bought 2 more types of glue * he picked up some crazy epoxy he had at his parents house.
We tested them all on scrap paper & then on an extra envelope until we found one that worked!
It was the clear liquidy kind of glue in a tube.
WE glued all night long, after we got something to work. LOL.
