I haven't done mine yet, but I always use a glue stick for sealing envelopes. The glue goes clear so you can't notice any smudges. The one I have on my desk right now is an Avery Permanent one.

We have an envelope sealer...its a clear bottle and a sponge top. we got it at staples. Press lightly...otherwise they get soaked!

Re: how did you seal your invites?
We used a sponge to wet the glue. Then, I bought wax and a seal with an 'N' for his last name and sealed all the envelopes with wax. I had to practice because it was messy, but it was worth it, if I do say so myself.

Re: how did you seal your invites?
I wouldn't use a sponge- then you run the risk of ruining your invites-- def use a gluestick.

I lucked out. My envelopes had a peel off sticker. Quick and painless.
