How did you tell DH? `

I just got a BFP tonight, and my luck DH is working over time, I didn't want to tell him ove the phone, I wanted to do something special, any ideas for when he gets home tomarrow night?

Congrats!!! When I was pregnant with my son, I wrote a poem and put it in a baby frame.

This time...I came out of the bathroom holding the test and just kept saying 'Oh my God!', 'Oh my God!'. I think he got the hint

I found out I was pregnant around the holidays so I bought a Christmas ornament that said 'Parents-to-be' and wrapped it up and gave it to my husband when he came from work.

I had it all planned out to take him out to dinner and tell him.
But he ruined the surprise, when he got home from work the first thing he said was 'Do you think your pregnant?' I had to tell him But it was great anyway!!! We were both really excited and crying.

we are going to do something like that for his parents, but we are getting them a pack and play for Christmas to tell them !

I bought a you're 'going to be a daddy' card and shoved all the EPT's in there. I handed him teh card and a wrapped up 'Joy of Fatherhood' book and handed all of them to him while he was parking the car after work. It was an awkward place, I had a house full of company because I had found out while I was on vacation in FLorida and I left a day early to come and tell him in person. He opened the card and didn't even read it. He was like what's this, a broken EZ pass? I said no, read teh card. He turns teh card over, and teh tests all fall out. He goes with a smile on his face~probably from shock or fear~'No way, NO _____ way? You have got to be ____ me? Who pee'd on this?????' Lol...He was shocked, we both were!!!!! I had just filled my CLOMID prescription, and I was already pregnant!

Thanks! I told him last night finally, like I said we talked about getting his parents a pack and play for christmas, so yesterday at work I wrote a little poem for them, when I got home I handed it to him and said, 'what do you think of this for your parents for Chrismas?'
It said:

You don't know me yet,
But I know you,
I'm sure when I arrive,
You will be buying me lots of pink or blue
Mommy and Daddy are as excited as excited could be,
To tell you I will be added to the family tree,
So just 8 weeks after Uncle Kevin and Aunt Melissa become one,
I will be cooked and ready to come out and have some fun,
So I hope you are ready for when I arrive
In late July 2005!

He looked at it and was like ok am I missing something here, I just kept staring at him and his face just changed! It was so great! He just kept saying, oh my god we are going to have a kid, oh my god I'm going to be a daddy!

I keep a scrapbook for us where I scanned in the test and made a page. It was the week of Valentines so I made him look at book w/ me

Oh many, my poor husband. He was sleeping soundly and I come storming into the bedroom saying 'Look! Look!' holding a stick in my hand. LOL. What you did sounds much nicer than that (although my hubby was a good sport, once he got over the initial confusion)!
