Ladies, one of our friend's going to propose to his girlfriend. could you please post how your FH proposed to you, to help with ideas for him.

my FH proposed under the full beautiful moon on the golf course at his country club!! It was beautiful!! I was in shock even tho I picked my ring out, I thought for sure he was going to wait til new years @ midnight... Our good friends got engaged at that moment tho...
through a power point slide presentation telling the story of our relationship together (in a once upon a time form) in our living room

He took me to the spot where we shared our first kiss.
What makes the story better is that we first kissed outside, looking at stars on a summer night in Port Jeff Village. The night FH proposed, it was cloudy and 40 degrees with 15 mph wind gusts. We had gone out for dinner, but he wanted 'to take a walk' (ie: get me to our spot). I was FREEZING, but went anyway...
And after he proposed, I didn't feel the cold! I was too busy recovering from the shock and staring at my !

We went to Aruba together. He did it on the beach while we were watching the sunset. I was totally surprised, and had no clue.

On a hot air balloon (hence the name and picture I took that day).
He got a letter in the mail from his job (later found out it was a set up) that he and a few co-workers had won a contest that entitled them to a ride on a hot air balloon. Originally we were supposed to go in October but the weather was horrible so we had to re-schedule. That actually made it better because it made sense that his co-workers weren't there. It was so great!

We were on a cruise and he did it on our first night there. I just feel bad because his plans fell through, but I don't care I still loved it. Along with the ring, he also named a star after me, and his plan was to go on the deck and to do it under the stars. He even bought an i-pod shuffle deck(i think thats what its called) so he can have music playing too.
After dinner we went to the room to change so we can go on to the deck but that night it was overcast so you couldn't see any stars. While in the room I knew something was wrong so i kept bothering asking him what was wrong and then all of a sudden he jumped up got the ring and proposed. After that he gave me the bracelet they give you when you name the star after someone. WIth my stars name and its location in the sky. The funny part is that at that time we were watching friends and it was the episode where Joey and Ross propose to rachel

You're definitely the only one so far that got engaged on a hot air balloon, so cute.

anyway.. FH proposed to me at his g-mas vacation home on a lake in PA.. our fav. vacation place its so peace full it was a moon lit night with a pretty fire going!! it was perfect!

this is one of my fav. stories.. a friend of my moms daughter.. this is what her FH did
He asked her parents to leave the house for the night so he could pop the ?... so he made a trail of hershey kisses from the front door to her bedroom with a note at the front door saying follow the trail.. when she got to her room he was on one knee and he said 'now that i've kissed the ground that you walk on WILL YOU MARRY ME?'
i thought it was soo sweet.. (no pun intended)
