We wrapped up a small pumpkin in a box. We gave it to the grandparents. They looked at us like WHAT??? We said now you have a little punkin too. (Thats what we call Emma (Punkin)). They caught on eventually and cried.

I hope I get some good ideas from this post, this is the month we start to try and I want to make the announcement a special one if we are successful, keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!

I bought my DH an 'I Love My Daddy' bib and gave it to him after dinner as a 'present' the day I found out!!

He said 'are we pregnant?' with a big smile on his face and tears in his eyes. Ahhhh, seems so long ago that I told him!!

I don't have a sweet story for telling my hubby, but we did do something cute for telling our families that it was a boy.

We came to visit everyone around Christmastime, so I bought 2 pair of blue booties, and wrapped them like Christmas presents, addressed to the grandparents. When they opened them, it took them a couple of minutes to 'get it', and then OMG - IT'S A BOY!!!

No story here, I was too excited at 7am on a Saturday when I took my test, and had to wake up DH to make him confirm that the line was really there! I couldn't have held it in!!

My DH knows exactly when I get TOM and he knew I was supposed to get it on our honeymoon! So when I didn't get it there we kinda knew together. The night we got home I made my sister stop at a 24hr CVS to get a test which I took at 12:30am, I came out of the bathroom and told him we are having a baby!!!! I told my Dad in a cute way. I got him a bib that said 'I love my Grandpa' and put it in alittle gift back and told him it was his souveneir from Jamaica, it took him a minute to get it but then he smiled and said 'I'm going to be a grandpa' It was great!!!

With all the trouble we've been having TTC, my DH will probably say I'ts about time..lol

I was thinking about baking him a cake and putting in frosting on it.... I love my daddy....

something to that effect!
