1 - you NEED to start looking for a dress, you're wedding is in less then a year.....
2 - tell fh a day of coordinator will make you feel better about the day and the better you feel, the better he will feel
3 - pick a color and then stop looking
4 - get off LIW and get your butt in gear girl

Leese, I hate to say this but you need to x-out of LIW and do your homework!!! You know how important grad school is, just getting your hw done will make LIW that much more enjoyable bc you won't have any guilty feelings about it.

AFTER you get off this site and DO your homework... get yourself dress shopping! You want to have the most time to decide what you really would love to wear, rather than rush at the last minute and order anything that you might like. The dress is a big one, get on that!
Bridesmaid dresses... not all that important. Pick one you like and thats it. Don't look back, throw out old bridal mags.. etc. Focus on other things...
DOC is a great thing... just emphasize that having one would keep your focus and attention on your FH and not how the flowers are arranged, who is sitting where, if the DJ is doing everything right... and on and on and on. They just need to put things in perspective.. and realize it's what WE want, not them! lol.. jk! (maybe!)

I know this sounds crazy...but I actually really want to wait. My friend got engaged in July, Got Married in February and had her dress in the Fall and she went to RK Bridal and got a designer dress and didn't pay for rushing.
Like, if you read BrideSave.... it will tell you when the Maggie's will come in and it specifically says July/August.
I just want to wait till July 2nd. I am in two weddings and I just don't need the added stress of this... I am so OCD that I'll be constantly thinking about it.
Ugh..... I also just want to tone up a bit more before I go throw on white marshmallow things on my body....
ok...that's my vent.

I swear sometimes I feel like joey and chandler from friends the one where they got free porn and were afraid to turn it off cuz they thoguht they would miss something and loose it forever. Thats how I feel like with LIW that if I turn it off I might miss something and never get it back lol lol

waiting is fine luv, but you can only look like a marshmallow if you DRESS like one. you are quite lovely....get your sexy but into a sexy dress and work it honey!
P.S. in too many poofs and puffs, anyone will look like a marshmallow

How did it go? Did you finish your paper?
I think it is fine to look for dresses in July. Set a timeframe and stick to it. I ordered my dress 9 months before my wedding and all is well. But stick to the time frame you set.
In terms of the DOC, explain your concerns to FI and how important it is to you to have a stress free wedding day (which will help him have a stress free wedding day... and fun wedding night! )

I think July is ok for dresses, but really do it, dont wait much longer than that!

BM dresses- pick a color and go with it...there are many colors out there and you will make yourself crazy with them all!
DOC- explain what she does, how it will help you, that cost isnt all that much (with a few of them, some are more $$) and that if it will make your life easier, then it will in the end make him happier!
