How do i change my name???

what is the process i need to go through to legally change my name???

TIA

its a really annoying process, you either need to mail original copies or go to the Social Security office.

Bring your marriage certificate, a copy of your ID, your old SS card, and maybe a birth certificate or baptismal record.

You also have to fill out a form (just google name change ss form)

THEN you need to go to the DMV and bring your marriage certificate, new ss card, etc. and get that changed.

and dont forget the banks! you need your new id and marriage certificate for that too!

its annoying but so worth it!

Good Luck!
