The headpieces that a like a head band but they tie underneath your head. I know Thomas Knoell has them. Any other designers? I want to wear my hair up, but it will be set low....:) I'm thinking that may be the best type of headpiece to wear. Any suggestions? pics are also helpful :)

I'm not sure what they are called exactly, but if you are going to a store I would definitely bring a pic. This site has what I think your talking about.
Yes thats it. I really prefer just a tradition tiarra/headband, but i have to just find the right on that will look right with the updo that I want. I'm not a fan of the ribbons lol!!!! I'm going to call my hair girl before i purchase anything :)

and here is a pic: eta: there are others on the site, this is just one example, HTH!!
I just saw your wedding album. Beautiful pics. You actually have the same veil and same type headpiece that I have on order. I'm just nervous that the headpiece may not look right with the style of hair that I want. I guess my hairdresser can always work around it! Can i ask who your headpiece is by?
Very pretty...I plan to have my hair low in the back like you had Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I actually don't remember who the headpiece is by. I bought it at Renate's Bridal in Lindenhurst. I had my heart set on a Thomas Knoell headpiece, but couldn't spend $500+ on just a headpiece! I found this one on accident, I went with my MIL to look for her dress and saw it, it kind of looked like the TK I wanted so I got it. I think I have a fairly close up pic of it.......
