how do i number the rows on an excel document? is there a formula or something?

i want to number the guests, so i can put numbers on the response cards.

You mean you want to number them 1 through 100 or whatever?

You can just put 1 and drag it down.. it should number it for you..

If that doesnt work then

Start with 1 on the first line then on the second line do the formula '= (first cell with the #1) + 1' and copy it down.

Hello. All you have 2 do is type in 1 in the first cell,thendrag down the right bottom corner and hold down the ctrl button.
