There is this older woman at work (might be in her 50's or 60's) and she really skeeves me out because she is a 'toucher!' Last week I wore a shirt that exposed my back right above my waistline and as I was at the fax machine, she ran her finger across my skin as she walked by. I was so stunned I didn't know what to do, so I just kind of froze. When she needs my help and I'm at my computer, she stands so close behind me to look at the screen that she practically puts her boobs on my back. Gross! Today I went over to help her and she grabbed my hand and asked me a question when I was using her mouse, so I literally yanked it from her hand and she kind of seemed to fight me! She is really creeping me out. If it was a creepy guy, I would feel easier about yelling or complaining to my boss, but she is the 'nice old lady' who everyone loves and I'm the fiesty new girl. What should I do?

LOL!!! If only we could do that to everyone who bothers us at work.....
I think I'm just going to drop hints, like maybe make up some story in which I can mention how much I hate being touched by people and hope she gets the hint. I've already given everyone the 'I hate shaking hands with people' speech, but I did do it with the staff on my first day. I will not touch the students or their families though - I always tell them (when they offer their hands) that I have a cold, so I can't shake their hands. Maybe I'll 'complain' about the students to my co-worker and then I can add in the 'I hate people touching me' thing.
...Or, I'll just punch her *@$%# lights out!

my jaw dropped when I read that part - that is TOTALLY disgusting and completely over the line. HELLO personal space. You need to do something - tell her that you are chlostrophobic and you need your space - anything to get her literally off your back.

We have one of those... she does the boobs on the back thing, but lucky for me she only does it to the guys. They avoid her at all costs. Sorry, I don't have any advice though!!
