How do I handle this one?

How do I handle this one?

My cousin keeps calling my grandfather asking if her 18 year old daughter (also my cousin) can come to the wedding. Now, I did not invite her for a reason! I hardly know her, and I really dont need her there. Well my cousin plans on calling me today to ask me out right if her daughter can come! But, my cousin will not even be there, they are going away that week, I guess they just want their daughter to be occupied one night. I AM SO MAD!

Also, my FMIL keeps calling people telling them that she designed my invitations (which Laura from LA productions and I made together) and she is ******* me off! Today is going to be the day that I blow my top!

Help out a crazy bride please!

Christy,

I am so sorry you are having to deal with Crap like this. Your FMIL has been doing this stuff constantly to you & needs to STOP. Can FH say anything to her? In regards to your cousin's daught just tell her NO!!!!! If your cousin wants her to be occupied then she should get her a babysitter! That is ridiculous! You invite only who you want there!

Tell hwer no, that is not invited, you have to limit the amount of people, use some Bull **** like that, I can't stand these people that thing that wedding invitations are transferrable! Also tell you FH to tell his FMIL to shut up!!! If this is somthing that is really upseting you, he should tell her to stop. You don't need this type of strees now!!

Sorry that you are dealing with this, I have come to the conclusion that most people in this worls are morons!!!!

So sorry you have to deal with this stress! It really puts a damper on things, doesn't it? I had some recent issue of my own and it's taking me almost a week now to get from under the gray cloud!

I would definitely talk to your FH about this. It's very important that you establish the 'terms' of his mother's limits before you're married. If not, it will continue into the marriage and cause problems. Also, the way he handles this will be a clue as to how future issues involving his mom and family will be handled. Will you be expected to keep the peace and let his mother do as she pleases from now on? Will he side with you and tell his mother she needs to step back a little? It's important to get the dynamic established. If it were me, I'd settle it now. Graciously, of course....
