I know some people use power point...I'm sure you could also do it in word though too.

I've seen directions on making a monogram in word. Do a Google search - I'm sure you'll be able to find them.

Re: How do I make a monogram?

powerpoint was a lot easier especially in terms of placing letters, shapes etc.

a suggestion though: i was going crazy making tiny changes since i had all the options in front of me and was spending like soooo long making them and had like 20 choices... i ended up paying someone $12 on etsy to create 3 for me and they had samples on their page already made and they kept emailing me back and forth with updated changes.... it was soooo easy and soooo worth it, i would def recommend it

Could you post your monograms and give me who you used? I'd appreciate it.

I used powerpoint to create mine...but i hate them lol
I am thinking i am going to use etsy or for the modern bride to make mine...That way i can put it on gift tags, menu's, programs, all that stuff...
Sometimes trying it DIY cant hurt, but it seems easier and less stressful to just get someone else to do it for you!!

i agree it was really easy to actually make...but for me see all the options in front of me was driving me crazy cuz i kept playing around with them and ended up saving like 20 diff ones! and that was just like 4 days into it.

but if your more decisive (unlike me haha) than def make it into a DIY project
