these Envelopment type of inviations ( well the outside envelope things?) I have only seen them to buy at www.mygatsby.com and they are too much money.
I have directions from someone on theKnot on how to make them. FM me if you want directions.

How do I cut the paper on the side like that??
I tried all the invite websites on invites ( about 150!) and none have these cheaper then gatsby and even those are more then I wanna spend...
I just dont know how to cut them?

Thanks! those envelopments she used are even more expensive though...Would be like $350 or more to do them all ( with postage) ...too much for me , not to do myself

You can buy the envelopment folder and make the invitation & access. parts on your own. I'll have to look but I know I've seen places that sell them seperately.

You can make them. Look at the way they cut them it is straight on one side then a v on the other side. You would use glue dots or any kind of scrapbooking glue check Michaels, AC Moore or scrapbooking store. Order a smaple from one of the websites mentioned above and bring it to the store with you. This is going to take many, many hours too so keep that in mind. DIYBride has one, it is simpler than the other one but the directions ae on there. For some reason instead of downloading the file I had to open it directly, that should work if you have problems. Good luck!

The other places cost too much..the cheapest I have seen is a small envelopment for like $1.28 and at 100 , plus all the card stock and printing, its not worth the money ya know...

Definitely go to Kate's paper in NYC--but the envelopements are pricey--can run $3 each.
I attended a bridal brunch at Kate's paper and they talked about the envelopements quite a bit--the best suggestion they made was to use postcards as the RSVP device. Cheaper maling per postcard and makes life a bit easier--especially since the envelopement has the handy pocket for it. It's what i'm going to use, too, so keep me posted on what you decide.
