How do I remove skunk smell?

Yes, my brilliant dog got sprayed by a skunk last night at lik midnight. We did our best and washed her with a home remedy (hydrogen peroxide, dish soap and baking soda) then followed it with tomato juice and then dog shampoo. She actually doesn't smell that bad, but the house still kind of stinks. We've used countless air freshners, Febreeze, etc... but it still kind of smells. Any suggestions?

Oh, and did I menion that this all happened after we returned from the emergency room where DH got 7 stitches?

This is from a website: Go to a janitorial supply store for some commercial grade malodorant. It can be added to carpet cleaning solution or just sprayed in the air.

Or have your carpets, furniture and drapes professionally cleaned.

Can you call your vet and ask him/her what you should do?

That may not be such a bad idea.

I'm not sure if you can use this on the dog, but Nature's Miracle works for skunk odors, cat/dog urine etc. It's sold at pet stores.
