Re: How do I take songs OFF of my i-pod?
I think you can go into your library and delete them from there and then re-sync the ipod.
But maybe someone knows an easier way?

Connect it to your computer, open i-tunes, and click on your ipod from the choices on the left side (where it say music library, music store, playlists, etc..there's the name of your ipod there). It will display all the songs on your ipod. Just highlight and delete the ones you don't want on there.

if you only want to delete them off the ipod and not itunes, go into the library and uncheck the songs you don't want on there. then you have to go to, shoot i forgot which screen, but wherever it gives the options for updating (like sync automatically etc) and check the box that says update only checked songs. using this method you'll still have the songs in case you want them back later.
