how do I tell

one of the groomsmen that a 'cafe/steakhouse' is lame for FH bachelor party. FH told me EXACTLY what he wanted to do and one of the guys isn't really doing it... Anyone have any suggestions?

I wouldn't tell him that it's 'ghetto', I'd just tell them that they should really do what FH has asked for.

Maybe tell the Best Man instead of a groomsmen. And tell them exactly what he wants, the night is not about them its for your FH (We had to repeatedly tell DH's groomsman this ).

lol, sorry for using that term but its just not what he wanted to do. I didn't want to get involved with this whole ordeal but his best man has been completely USELESS and done nothing, so I called his best friend to help out... His best friend is a cheap a$$ and decided on some lame place...

I jsut emailed him telling him I could get a fixed menu for the places FH likes, so hopefully he'll listen and just do it...

I don't know how to tell him this, but I find it funny how a groom can tell their friends what they want for their bachelor party and their friends plan something TOTALLY different! My FH wants to go shark fishing and maybe a nice dinner, his friend is planning on taking him to a strip club. hmmmmm, who's day is it????

I don't get how things like this are made to be so complicated, its simple as its the grooms day do what he wants, when its your day u can have ur bach. party at some lame place lol.. Oh you have no idea what I've been dealing with, with the guys.. His BM wanted to take JUST the bridal party and the dads to some place in Oyster Bay and then the guys can go do whatever they want. BM isn't much into going out or drinking.. So FH said, no I have a ton of other friends i want there and no one wants to go there. So now, its basically up to me to get FH what he wants for his party....

UGH!! Boys are so dumb! FH is having a similar problem and I had to step in. I explained that this is what Fh wants and his day and I'm willing to help however I can, but I'd really like for him to have what he wants on that day.

It actually got him moving and he's making the right plans now.

All he wants to do is go to a steak house in the city, Old Homestead or which ever one, and then bar hoping.... Its not like hes asking to go to Vegas or South beach for a week!

Aww, I'd call and make the reservation and try to get them a set price..and then tell the BM/GM you took care of it for them.

Haha, Im so close to doing it! They are probably going to think I want to take control of that whole situation, but I don't, I just want him to have a good time...

Just pull him to the side and make the suggestion so that your FH can have a great time on his special night. If he is a true friend he will do what your FH wants. I am sure that it will work out! Good Luck!!
