All of our friends live in NYC, but our wedding is 2 hours away on Long Island. Does anyone have a good vendor/service that can pick my friends up, maybe at one location in the city, and drop them off at the hall, then pick them up at the end of the night and drive them back to NYC? I'm not so sure about hiring a limo, because the wedding's from 8pm-1:30am, and that'll cost a lot, right? I dunno. Any ideas? THANKS!

I chartered a bus for my OOT guests - It cost about $700 for 7 hours

Ah, didn't realize there were so few people. My bus was for 50 people or so.
Why do you have to provide transport for them? Can't they just rent a car?
Is there a train station near your hall? they can take the trian and then a cab. Can other friends pick them up from the train station?

I would say, hire a car service that will pick them up at one location and go get them at the end of the night. They should only be charged for a pick up and a drop off. Why don't you go on vendors helping brides and ask?

You should contact All star limousine, They have their own charter bus and they also have Suv and Van service. Their Fleet of cars is outstanding.

Have them take the train to huntington, and then a car service home....they might be comfortable coming up with thier own transportation...Thatched Cottage is not that far from NYC....

Our friends took the train and then either shared rides or took at taxi.

If they live in NYC I wouldnt think it is your responsibility to provide transportation. I would only do that for out of town guests

they have car rentals in NYC.....zip cars I believe. Maybe it's worth it for them to rent a car.

For our rehearsal dinner, we got a van from All Star Limos to pick up in NYC and drop off. We had about 15 ppl total.

I was stressing about it too until DH reminded me that they are all adults and can take care of themselves...believe it or not he was right!
