Urgh!!! I have a blemish on my face that hasn't gone away in days. It always shows on the same spot - left cheek. Its not severe - but its annoying to look at.
I've tryed dabbing it with alittle alcohol and perioxide at night, used oxi-clean.......
No luck......
What are some of your tricks ?

Anti-Bacterial ointment ... neoSporin or something similar.

Aside from dabbing it with alcohol to dry it out...
Overnight - dab a glob of Queen Helene's Mint Julep mask on it.
Morning and night - Burt's Bee's Parsley stick...works nice. Zaps zits quicker than most anything else I've used.
I also use one of those extractors that the Derm's use. I try to extract all the puss from the zit - that makes it heal quicker too. Then dry it up with the parsley stick or alcohol.

I use toothpaste (not gel)...I dab some on and let it dry...its not always the best to use at bedtime, maybe if you are watching tv before going to bed.

I have heard from more than one skin care specialist that alcohol and witch hazel will make the problem worse. They do dry up the surface skin, but the actual blemish will last longer because your skin gets so dry, it actually produces more oil to that area, and prolongs the life of the pimple...or something like that.
Could be bull, I don't know.
Proactiv is my savior, as explained on another thread earlier.

I use the Clean & Clear invisible gel...it's pure salcylic acid
