how do u keep ur home smelling sweet?/

with a 13 month old, I cant burn candles as often as I used to.
Have those glade plug ins in the bathrms and one hallway...
but I like to smell a nice scent when i walk into the room ..so the plug ins dont seem to cut it for me

anyone use those plug ins that are oils? and some come with little fans?

what do u use..

( i cant use potpourri because of the baby and the 2 cats )

have you tried scented oils...drop a drop or two on your lightbulbs...

my mom used to do this

i love the smell of febreze!!! i spray it in the living room at least once a day. it's a nice clean smell - not overpowering. the plug-ins that you get from bath & body works are so strong, every time i have tried to use one i got a massive migraine

Yankee candle plug ins

I love my Yankees but these plugs ins give a nice smell in a room, they just seem to run out very quickly.

I also use those Glade oil plug ins and they work well too.

I take cinnamon sticks and water and boil it in a small pot.. it smells soo yummy.. I also have this cute little ceramic thingie that does the same thing..

I use those sachets from bed bath and beyond, they are little envelopes and smell so good. I keep a vanilla one in our walk in closet, and it smells so yummy

Upstairs, i also use the carpet freshener you can sprinkle and then vaccum over. It lasts for a while-i use the pet friendly kind as my dog loves to sniff (and lick) anything that smells strong.

I use candles when I can --- but I am addicted to Febreeze.. I spray it everywhere.. Also Euclaptus (s?) I stick a piece here and there in flower arrangements.. Also there is a spray I just bought called Orange Mist-- It is all natural and you just use one spray per soom -- gives the house such a nice smell..

If you need a quick fix a bowl of water with cinnamon in it and pop it in the Microwave!

I quess it is a modern day version of yours!

They also say to do that when you are selling a house!! I read it in a magazine and I did it before the new owners of my house came in and they said....mmmm this house smells soooo good!!
